We are extremely disappointed with our stay.nnWe paid nearly €1,500 for less than a week, expecting a level of service that matched the price. Unfortunately, as soon as a serious problem occurred, the staff showed no willingness to help.nnThe washing machine in our bungalow broke down during a full wash cycle. At the end of the programme, all of our clothes were completely soaked, and the machine failed to complete the spin cycle. We spent the entire evening trying to solve the problem ourselves, without success.nnThis morning, as soon as reception opened at 8:00 a.m., we explained the situation. We are currently attending a World Championship as members of the French national team, and our official team uniform is among the soaking wet clothes. Wearing this uniform at the closing ceremony is mandatory. Without it, we risk losing the reimbursement of all our travel expenses from our national federation.nnDespite the urgency of the situation, no practical solution has been offered. The campsite laundry room is fully booked for the day, but no effort has been made to find an alternative: taking care of our laundry, washing and drying it as a priority, or simply giving us access to a working washing machine. The only response we received was that a technician might be called sometime during the day.nnWhat makes this situation even more unacceptable is that today is the day of the World Championship final. We are at the competition venue all day and simply cannot spend our time driving back and forth to the campsite waiting for updates or for the machine to be repaired. We need an immediate solution, not the possibility that a technician might be called later today.nnAs if that were not enough, we are leaving the campsite tomorrow morning for a three-day drive home. Every single item of clothing we have is in that washing machine and completely soaked. At this point, we simply do not know how we are supposed to change clothes during our journey. This situation could have been resolved within a couple of hours if the campsite had simply agreed to take care of our laundry or provide us with access to a working washing machine.nnWe understand that equipment can sometimes fail. What is unacceptable, however, is the complete lack of empathy, responsiveness, and willingness to help guests facing a genuine emergency, especially considering the price we paid.nnAt this stage, we absolutely cannot recommend this campsite.
We’ve stayed at other First Camp locations before and had great experiences — unfortunately not this one.nnUneven tiles outside our cabin caused me to sprain my ankle, resulting in a half-day at the Swedish akut for an X-ray. Thankfully nothing was broken, but it was painful and avoidable.nnWhat stood out most was the lack of care — when I later spoke to staff, no one even asked how I was, despite me clearly limping.nnWe were also moved from the single-level cabin we booked important with small kids to a two-story one due to construction. The booking fee to choose our cabin was not refunded, as this was considered an “upgrade,” which didn’t suit our needs and made it more dangerous to be in.nnA free round of golf was offered for a future stay — appreciated, but no use to us with small kids and we won’t be returning.nnOverall, disappointing experience and poor customer service. Not recommended.
These people poisoned my dog. They scattered ant poison around the houses. This is against the law. There should be closed bait stations, not scattered poison! I called before arriving and asked if I could bring my dog! This place is dangerous for animals. My dog has been vomiting and has had diarrhea for three days now! My vacation was ruined because I was worried about my dog! My dog still feels very ill! The people who scattered ant poison like that should be punished!
Very nice Personal in the camp. Not to expensive if you take over night only parking space and shower. They were nice to let me charge my power bank at the reception for free. Not too loud. I saw that there are a lot of activities for the family, pool. Nice kitchen that you can use. Only thing, that I didn't like was the bathroom. There were only showers and no sink, except in the toilet. So, you can wash your teeth only in the toilet. Also, at the big mirror wasn't enough hangers, so you have to hold your stuff
We enjoyed our time at this camping. The Jessi Lodge was comfortable and very suitable for children. The lodge itself is on the small side, but it has a clever design to fit all the functions. WiFi is extremely poor unfortunately, basically useless. Swimming pool was nice on a warm day. The bistro serves simple meals like pizzas and hamburgers with fries. Suitable for families with younger children.
