What went well:nnThere is a luggage room, and one of the security gentlemen was very helpful.nnGuests can stay in the lounge area on departure day if the flight is later, which is convenient.nnThe location is practical: close to a bus stop, bike rentals, shops, and a Lidl about a 10-minute walk away; the seafront is nearby.nnTV works well and supports casting from a phone.nnWhat went wrong:nnRoom and especially bathroom were not properly cleaned on arrival; dusty window area with cobwebs, and soap was not replaced despite being nearly empty.nnWas initially accommodated in a basement room that did not match the photos of the rooms shown online; only after two days was a room change possible.nnIn-room temperature can’t be adjusted by guests, which made the stay uncomfortable at times.nnHousekeeping does not clean proactively; guests must request service or replacements explicitly—even over a longer stay. When cleaning was requested, it was refused and vacuuming had to be done personally due to my increasing allergy symptoms.nnBathroom has a floor-level shower; water easily spreads across the bathroom floor after showering.nnKitchen equipment needs replacing: the frying pan was extremely worn and the base was coming off, which made basic cooking difficult.nnTips for future guests:nnIf something needs cleaning or replacing soap, towels, cookware, inform the front desk/customer support; it won’t be done by default.nnIf assigned a basement room, confirm it matches the listing photos or ask about changing options before the trip, if possible!nnOverall:nDecent location and basic conveniences, but overall felt like the bare minimum for the price due to cleanliness, maintenance, and service gaps.
Terrible experience.nNo wifi we were told it was “out of order”, a constant bad smell in the bathroom, and very inconvenient check-in 4 PM and check-out 11 AM. Guests are even asked to take their own trash to a garbage room, which is unacceptable for a hotel. When we came back to pick up our luggage from the storage room, we asked to use a restroom and were told there was none available for guests. How can a hotel operate like this? Absolutely not recommended.
When I checked in the room was obviously not cleaned after the previous guest. I remember reading the reviews on my way to this hotel and thought “no way they actually do not clean the rooms”. Well to my surprise it indeed was uncleaned. The guard at the reception was very helpful so he quickly changed my room, shoutout to him. This room was clean. But an issue was the soundproofing, you can hear the person above you walk around, open cabinets and etc. hard to sleep.
We booked two rooms well in advance for a business trip. Upon arrival, one room was in a very poor state of cleanliness. When I called the hotel, they suggested I move to their other location in Lund, which was not a feasible option. Their argument was that the hotel in Malmö, as well as nearby hotels, were fully booked. They then proposed that I change the bedsheets myself and stay in the room, not fully grasping the extent of the cleanliness issue. Ultimately, I had to share a room with my business partner, which was not ideal. We expected both rooms to be reimbursed, but only received a refund for one. My partner, who anticipated having a room to himself, did not receive any compensation for the inconvenience. The service was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this hotel. They did not handle the situation well. I have attached photos of the room for reference.
This hotel is really cute and have good location. Room and bathroom were clean, kithen has everything. We had great time.
