The nearest metro station to the old town of Stockholm!nNear by anything you need and walking distance to almost all the touristy objects and museums.
The view from Gamla Stan T-Bana is probably the best in the city, overviewing Roddarholmen on one side and Slussen on the another.. In the distance you'll see the Stockholm city hall overlooking the entire the water space.. Great panoramic views all around and multiple photo ops..
One of the most beautiful cities! Gamla stan station leads to Gamla stan which is an old down town of Stockholm. Great place for enjoying some delicious food! Definitely try to eat milk ice cream over there!
This metro station is conveniently adjacent to the old town area. The station itself felt rather plain compared to other stops in the city, but does have some interesting art. I didn't see ticket machines so I paid at the booth and learned they are all digital. The counter agent was very helpful. It's much easier to get tickets in the app. There was ongoing construction when we used the station that slightly impacted our walking path.
