Not very impressive today, more if you connect with the history. The nearby old quarter with beautiful streets is very attractive.
10/06/20 there were no market here, just an old area where we can walk and feel like going back in time maybe walking at night might feel like in sherlock holme movie

A nice place with cozy houses
Anyone visiting Kalmar must see the old town with its beautiful alleyways, cobblestone streets, and picturesque buildings overflowing with rose bushes. Truly idyllic and impressive!
