Gekås Ullared is enormous and has a huge selection of products, but our visit was disappointing. It was extremely crowded—to the point where it was difficult to walk because of the constant traffic of people.nnThe layout also didn’t feel well organized. With a better store arrangement and wider aisles, it could have handled the crowds much more comfortably.nnWe also expected the prices to be much lower. While there were some good deals, overall they weren’t cheap enough to justify driving all the way from Stockholm just for shopping.nnOverall, it’s an interesting place to visit once, but because of the crowds and the prices, we probably wouldn’t make the trip again.

Very big shopping centre . I visited during my holiday in Sweden. Everything is there starting from groceries to clothing. There are other joints you can eat too.

Gekås Ullared is absolutely an interesting cultural phenomenon. A Swedish mega-department store so famous it has its own TV show, live feed, and dedicated fanbase. It’s a massive place, spanning three floors with everything from a food court to an optician. If you are looking to swap out an entire wardrobe or outfit a new home in one go, the decent value prices might make sense for a huge shopping haul.nnHowever, the major hurdle is the location. It's situated a long drive from major cities about 2.5 hours from Malmö, 1 hour from Gothenburg, which significantly impacts the cost-effectiveness of the trip.nnIf you look at the value a few things stand out:nn1 While the prices are generally good, you can technically find the same prices at more local retailers like Rusta, Jula, Jysk, and even Amazon for most household, toy, and beauty items Normal/Apotek.nn2 For the trip to be truly economical, you must factor in driving costs. Unless you are buying an enormous quantity of goods, the fuel and time spent can essentially add 25% give or take to the final price of every item.nnIt was genuinely interesting to experience this retail landmark, but given the long drive and the need to arrive very early to beat the crowds, I don't see the value proposition being strong enough for a typical shopping trip. Dedicating six to eight hours plus several hours of driving requires a very specific shopping mission to be truly worth it.

Perfect place for long term buying everything you need for home like cloths, utensils, groceries, bags, shoes, winter wear, sports wear, laundry, makeup and many more.nBuy like once in 4months to 6months once. Good to buy in bulk.nnTo get there is best if you have a car.

Easily my favorite outlet store in Sweden. Super big store with a lot of different products at lower prices. Not recommended for me to travel here often because it gets expensive due to cheap prices. nnIt has a cafe, restaurants and everything one needs to spend the entire day in the store.
