Genarps Kyrka

It was good to take a look at Genarp's church, essentially the only church that was getting built while the destructive zeal of the Reformation was leaving dozens of churches in ruin all around Scania.nIt was a pity that the church was closed and we could not see the inside, though. We were fascinated by its shaped with weird floor section that shows two opposite sections of the transept crossing the nave at differing junctions, thus not facing each other.

A nice church in Skåne. Well worth a visit if you are passing by.

There are areas where you could wish for a little more cultivated surfaces. The part that apparently belongs to Häckeberga should receive a serious review and measures.

The wings of history are truly felt here when you enter this church. A large, lovely, leafy cemetery.

It's BIG but so bare, it doesn't feel cozy or warm to walk into, but they have an incredibly amazing female priest
