Nice badet! clean and quiet place. The strand is not so long but you can find a place in the green area in the back of the strand.
A quiet place with a sandy beach, so rare on the Stockholm archipelago. Sand is delivered to the beach by truck. Next to it is a viewpoint of the bay, surrounding islands and the Gamla Djursholm peninsula, where the property purchased for over half a billion crowns by the owner of Spotify has been under renovation since February 2021. The beach is tiny and definitely a place for quiet contemplation and relaxation. However, this peace may be a problem, because the beach is the only sandy beach in the area, and 2-3 mothers with children fill the beach to the end.
An oasis. Simple but good. Don't want to say more because then more people will find their way here ;
Germaniaviken is a bathing area at Värtan in Djursholm with a child-friendly sandy beach. On early maps of the area, the place was called Österviken. Between 1890-1912, Alice Tegnér lived nearby, more specifically at the address Germaniavägen 5. The house, however, has been demolished.nnSwim in Värtan surrounded by lush park nature with a view of beautiful villas and the islands of the innermost archipelago. There is a child-friendly sandy beach here.nnThe bathing ladder is also in during the winter.
Small sandy beach, lots of grassy areas and rock swimming further up with a trampoline and 2 ladders up. Just a little slippery steps but good railings to hold on to, even small children swim there but it gets choppy from passing boats. Today it was 22 degrees so perfectly fine for not being a lake. There is a bajjamajja but unfortunately no kiosk or anything like that, the nearest real toilet is the library and then there is the coop, sibylla and cafe on the square for drinks and food. It was clean and fresh, people pick up after their dogs and there are plenty of bins, about 100 meters apart. Fairly flat surfaces too so you can see far and it is possible to walk with a walker etc. Bad with real parking, people just stand along the street.
