This is the official Facebook page for Gimo Herrgård - Sweden's largest manor hotel featuring 87 rooms and suites, located 50 minutes north of Stockholm Airport.
Gimo Herrgård has welcomed guests from near and far for almost 250 years. When royal architect Jean-Eric Rehn designed Gimo Mansion in 1761-1762 he created a building that today is considered to be the first Gustavian mansion building within Swedish architecture.
The mansion was built for the owner and the head of Gimo iron-works, Robert Finley. It was important that the building proclaimed the status and luxury that was befitted for an iron-works owner in the middle of the 18th century.
Today we strive to preserve our rich heritage while keeping up with the latest technology and comforts to see to the needs of the modern day traveller. A quarter of all guest rooms feature private jacuzzis with four poster beds and private saunas also among the most unique features in several guest rooms.
Gimo Herrgård is comprised of several landmark buildings and is hence a culturally protected hotel.
