Glaskogen Apartments

Amazing, beautiful, peaceful, and modern place to stay.nThe view is amazing with the big fields and trees/forrest.nnPeter is very accommodating and super friendly.

Beautiful apartments, we also got a free upgrade. Loved seeing Moose from our terace and enjoyed hiking and canoeing at local nature reserve Glaskogen.

We really loved staying at the Glaskogen Apartments in Glava.nMy family and I stayed for nearly two weeks this summer In July and we can only say good things about it and we were sad to leave.nnThe rooms are freshly renovated and very stylish. The beds are comfortable and amenities are all top notch. Big ++ plus ++ was that the water pressure for the showers was awesome!nnThe owners are a wonderful couple that are personally renovating the property. You can tell that are putting their heart and soul into it. The grounds are lovely and all the apartments have a balcony with a rural view.nnOn multiple occasions we got to see deer and moose walking in the field next door. On a number of occasions we utilised the outdoor fire and other guests come to join and chat which was nice to meet people from other countries and see/hear their stories. The hosts also supplied a few marshmallows for our daughter to toast on the fire : One evening we even used it as a BBQ!nnI was fortunate enough that the owner Peter does Kayak tours and we have a wonderful evening on one of the nearby lakes. It was truely magical. So quiet and serene and I got to ride in his cool 4x4.nnGlava is a small village and so just a 5 minute walk from apartment is an ICA supermarket which has everything you need and a Pizza place which does very generous pizzas and Kebabs if you dont feel like cooking.nnMy wife and child used the bus to get into Arvika town about 30 mins away, bus was on time and new, mainly empty too. Very easy. Plenty of on-site parking if you are bringing your own car.

Went here to ride mountainbike in the Glaskogen Nature reserve. Stayed for 2 nights in July 2024 at this beautiful little place with nice and friendly owners. The apartment was clean and the area very peaceful.

Thank you so much for the stay!nAs a non-driver, the location was around 100 m from the Glava Lövås stop. Ask the driver.nBut for those of you who do drive, they have plenty of parking space up front.nCommunication was quick and clear and service was also great.nI stayed in the smallest apartment, Den Gröna Vargen, which had more than enough space for one or two people.nIf you’re there for hiking, remember to bring your bug spray lake region, ensuring plenty of mosquitoes and horseflies in the forest.nHighly recommend!
