We had an impression that this is the best ice cream shop in Ystad and we're excited to try it. We're 2nd on queue as there was a family of 4 who ordered ahead of us. Unfortunately, the lady staff assigned around 17.15 on midsummerafton was inattentive. We wanted to order 1 liten hallon and 1 liten jordgubb glass. My spouse spoke in Swedish and he was very clear about our orders. However, the staff persisted on speaking to him in English about the chosen flavours + portion and we perceived that everything was also clear to her as my spouse replied in Swedish. The staff only handed over 1 hallon glass and went directly went to the till. We didn't insist the jordgubb anymore as she charged only one ice cream...we just left the place and we're dismayed that she didn't get the order right. Hope you improve your service. We don't mind lining up for the best ice cream but please be attentive and be patient in speaking to your customers who are trying to learn the Swedish language.
World-class ice cream! We even adjusted our road trip just to come back to Ystad. The flavors especially roasted almonds and saffron honey are unforgettable, and the staff were super sweet and welcoming. Definitely our favorite ice cream ever!

ystad's neighborhood ice cream shop! it seemed popular with both locals and tourists, good variety of flavors, decent price ~40sek for a small with two scoops in a cone. the shop is run by a mother and daughter, and service was friendly.nni got the brynt smör kanderade mandlar brown butter with almonds which is their known flavor and mango lassi with cardamom. brynt smör is a bit on the sweet side but was tasty. mango lassi has a hint of cardamom. my mom got the coffee flavor which she enjoyed but said could be stronger flavor.nna nice stop for ice cream if you're visiting ystad in the summer!
The taste is really delicious The portions are perfect. Definitely recommend it. I went to Ystad again just to have their ice cream.
