I had a lovely experience here. The view is breathtaking! Being in Gothenburg just before the New Year late 2025 was a great choice—the city was beautifully decorated, and the vibes were fun and festive. A must-visit if you're in the city!
I attended the local premiere of Miss Saigon here, and it was a wonderful experience. The opera house is beautifully located by the water, offering stunning views before and after the performance. Inside, everything feels elegant and well organized. The staff were professional and friendly, and the seating was very comfortable, making it easy to fully enjoy the show. A truly impressive venue in Gothenburg.
Today, I had the chance to watch an exceptionally beautiful and moving play. It completely captured my heart — the sadness, the joy, and even the tears. You should experience it at least once; it’s truly worth it. Setting politics aside, it’s simply a heartfelt story about love and about those who have been left behind

The most democratic opera house I have been to so far: affordable & accessible with even musicals in the program. Its dance company has an impressive repertoire and is worth visiting for yearly world premiere. The visibility is great overall with comfortable seats made of velvet and leather ?. Drinks and food are served in the reception hall with the view over the port. It's only a 10-minute walk from the Central Station.
