Stately, Scandinavian, and spiritual, this cathedral harkens to humanity’s possibilities. Clean and silent, sitting in a pew was easy and peaceful.nnTwo beautiful organs we heard the smaller one fill the cathedral with a grand sound.nnLike the nearby park, this cathedral is something to be proud of. A statement of Goteberg and Europe, this cathedral gives you feeling that all is well. That hope resounds. That in here, in silence, with little eye candy, there is peace.nnThank you for this church, Goteberg. For rebuilding and rebuilding it over the ages. It’s gorgeous and a wonderful centerpiece.
I always make an effort to visit local cathedrals. A lot are beautiful and its always good to visit them.nnHowever Gothenburg Cathedral fell short of my expectations. It just had a feel and look of a standard church, nothing exciting and nothing to make it stand out.
Beautifully maintained inside and out. People are aloud inside for mass and tours.
Beautiful church. Peacefully and modern building.
A beautiful building, we need more places like this in Europe.
