Remarkable place! I loved every moment of this visit! The castle has 65 amazing chambers ready to reveal their story, incredible paintings on the walls and rare royal items! My favourite room was King's theater!! The view, the garden and all the outside surrounding was trully lovely!
Gripsholm Castle is a real treat to visit! The historic architecture and beautiful surroundings make it a memorable experience. The interiors are fascinating, with plenty of history to explore. It's definitely worth the one hour train ride from Stockholm Central Station.
Interesting 16th century castle with rich history and a large impressive portrait collection. If you are curious with questions related to history the staff is friendly and have a wealth of knowledge.
Beautiful castle, very interesting visit, and surrounded by very beautiful views both in winter and in summer!
There is an amaizing portrait gallery here. I would definitely recommend visiting this beautiful castle in summer when everything is in blossom
