Gripsholms BnB (Stallgården)

Since we had a conference in Mariefred all rooms were booked - we had to use Gripsholms BnB. The check in is at Gripsholms Värdshus , the room was clean but extremely small! We could hardly move around. There is a kitchen at the end of the hall and several bathrooms. The doors are heavy which means that people slam the door while you are trying to sleep. Other than that it was perfect for us since we just slept there.

To call this a bed and breakfast is a serious misnomer. There are no staff, and no breakfast, on site. Breakfast is a half mile walk away in a different hotel, after which you need to walk half a mile back to clean your teeth unless you want to do so in a toilet. And then half a mile again, dragging your luggage, to check out. Added to this, the corridors and shared bathrooms have all the ambience of a detention centre.

Stayed there over a weekend, it is a nice bed and breakfast.nVery clean.nBit to soft beds and to thin duvets but that is what i think, but over all very nice.nBIG variety at breakfast. Very Good.n- no TV in the whole place!

Make sure you get the room you booked not the tiny wardrobe filled we got, thankfully they gave us a bigger room as 7m2 isn't big enough for 2 adults and a small child. You get breakfast in with the price but you have to drive to another hotel to receive it.

Risk for noisy neighbors bc of shared bathrooms and noisy hallway doors. Hope they fix that door thst slams hard.
