Grönhags Camping

Location at the beach is super-b! Stayed here for 3 nights with 2 persons a tent without electricity. Price was pretty expensive with 360kr/night. Toilets a bit old but pretty clean :. A plus was the fridge in the service area. Camping was very music-noisy at Saturday until midnight :.

Very nice campsite. Pitch right on the beach with sea view. Sanitary facilities are very clean and modern. Kitchen with 3-burner ceramic hob and sinks. 2 ovens, dishwasher, 2 dishwashing areas, dining room.nnSeparate room with 4 washing machines.nnPaid 40 euros for one night including electricity and water. Absolutely fine. I can highly recommend it.

I really like the location. It was only a 3 min bike ride to the store. Close to restaurants and a nice beach.nVery nice service house down by the beach. There was a smaller one at the reception which was also okay. But it was a bit dirtier. There was also a mix of guys and girls.

Minus:nJust got back after Midsummer 2025. A bit of a disaster actually. And we told the campsite, the guards and the noisy guests several times:nSome extremely noisy guests music at a crazy high volume and raves until the wee hours who, despite being told to, did not calm down. The worst was Wednesday night and then the campsite had no guards so we had to take care of it ourselves. They were so disruptive that several families with children chose to cancel their vacation because people were banging on their caravans and vomiting at their entrance. The campsite chose NOT to compensate these guests I was at the reception and heard everything but they had to drive home and let the noisy ones stay. Yes, it was Midsummer and then you can have fun, we do too, but at 4 am and the china was rattling we felt that some limit had to be set.nThe girls at the reception were so incredibly inexperienced that they did not know how to deal with anything or anyone. What I think is worst is that the campsite chose to let the troublemakers stay and let the disappointed families go home. Shouldn't they evict the troublemakers instead? Or at least take their speakers?nnPlus:nIncredibly good service house/toilet/shower. Clean and tidy. All credit to the cleaners. The location. We stayed almost right down by the beach. Nice beach, shallow. We have stayed at several campsites on Öland but the location of this one is among the better.

Hi. I have to say that I am disappointed with Grönhags camping. I pay for high season, but not even the ice cream kiosk is open when the weather is so good. The pitches are expensive, the laundry costs 50 SEK per time, the showers cost them too. The reception is only open for two hours in the morning. Been here for many years but next year we will probably book with the neighbor. Best regards, food
