Very nice place from outside, I had no chance to visit inside yet.
Great building but only open Tuesday,Wednesday and Saturday for 3 hours per day.nNot good for tourism
Hardly a 'castle' in the real sense but a beautiful reminder of local defences just a couple of centuries ago. 1890 if my memory serves me well. We Lucy and I simply drove in under cover of darkness to 'storm' the atrium. Top marks for historians and daring photographers! Try Varberg too - my favourite Swedish fortress
Halmstad, Golf capital of Sweden, nice and clean regional city. Well worth a visit
