Story

My name is Elzbieta Larsten and I was born in Krakow in Poland. I moved to Sweden in 1991.

I have since childhood been curious about glass art and glass crafts. An inner desire and curiosity was deeply rooted in the soul. I knew the magic was there - heat, desire, challenge and creativity.

My first encounter with glassblowing was in Kosta in Småland, in 2008. I have attended several courses in Kosta and I still have a lot to learn. Since 2008, my dream of making glass developed into a passion. I have learned that glass has it's own life, playing, cheat a little ... Many times it will be just a disaster of a thought - but sometimes it's so beautiful!

My creating is pleasurable and gives me great satisfaction. I like to combine glass with other materials, where nature is a great inspiration. I have used old, rusty iron nails, 24k gold, feathers, dried flowers from different bushes and fragile dandelions seeds.

My glass apples are not perfect, just like in nature. There are no two alike either - and that's what makes them unique.
I call each of my apples Happy Apple. My wish is that they will bring good luck in the owner's life. My motto is:
