Nice hotel with fine decor and amenities although the noise from the slamming doors in the hallway were quite disturbing.nnWe enjoyed the food and drinks both at dinner and breakfast, however we would’ve appreciated if the service staff at dinner could’ve been as engaged at those at breakfast.
We recently stayed at the Hernö Gin Hotel in Härnösand and it was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. Absolutely fantastic location, rooms, service. We wanted a family friendly getaway from Örnsköldsvik, and this was the place to come. The family room was perfect with a bunk bed that was top class, with blinds for the lower bunk which our two year old loved, and also the Hotel restaurant was amazing. One of the features we loved the best was the well equipped kids room, close to our dining table, which meant we could relax after the meal for a long while, and even enjoy one of their famous gin cocktails. Thanks Hernö for the great stay, service and food - we will be back!
We visited for a family dinner on a Sunday. The food was excellent, and the service was generally good. The only downside was the long wait for drinks and starters, which took about 30–40 minutes. Additionally, the staff’s knowledge of wine and other alcoholic beverages could be improved. Great with a kids room.
Let me just say, Hampus is the king. No ask too small. No task too great, never flustered and made my visit so much smoother and easier. Lovely location. Great beer and food. But seriously. Hampus needs a raise
