I had the BBQ-platter and found it very good. Brisket was very smoky, and all the side dishes tasted good. The dishes are more than enough to get full. The price is excessive though. The line was very long to order, I probably stood there for 20 minutes. For once it would have been convenient with an app…
In the middle of nowhere but rather interesting experience. Foods are nice but very expensive. We like the Brisket and the ribs. The pit beans are great too but the potato salad is not good at all
This was just amazing. The food, the place, the service !nnFrom parking, to the short walk to the entrance, where you are welcomed by a nice host, easy guided to self serve in finding a free table. We got there at 11:30 am on a Sunday, and then had just been open for 30 min, and there was a big crowd already. But no problem getting a table in the shade. We sat at table no. 41. The staff is top notch hospitality and showed us the line to order food and for toilets, and the little general store if you want to get bbq stuff, merch etc..nnThe line for ordering was smooth. Super professional and very well given advice in our order the menu is huge.nnWe both got a Base Plate with bread, Carolina Slaw, Ginger Cucumber, and tortillas, HOLY's Green Special Sauce and Pickled Onions.nnThen we shared:nnThe Brisket,nSpicy BaconnSt. Louis Cut Pork RibsnPulled PorknnFor sides we shared Pit Beans and Cream Chili Corn. Both awesome!nnWe both had the Corn on the Cob with Sriracha mayo. It was so delicious, with a crunchy topping too.nnOn the table is a selection of sauces:nVinegar saucenMustard saucenChipotle/Tomato base saucennMy partner is from North Carolina, so the Vinegar sauce and Pulled Pork was bringing back memories.nnFor drinks we just got ice-cold Sparkling Water.nNo room for dessert at this visit, but next time!nnThank you again, to Holy Smoke BBQ for creating such an amazing place! So accommodating, such a wonderful experience. A must visit !
Loved the place. Expensive.... YesnService was on top.nFood the meat was awesome! Mac n' broc was boring though.nWill we visit again? Without a doubt!
It was a sunny day so naturally everyone was out and about soaking the sun which also meant that service took a longer time as there was only one person at the cashier whose task also included serving drinks. The food was aplenty, the meats and sides were delicious but items like Mac and broc was cold. Definitely on the pricey side for what you get. There is also a merchandise shop to browse in while waiting for the food. The atmosphere is good, the place is spacious and picturesque.
