Have been staying and filming in the vicinity recently and often driven, cycled or walked by. Staff very friendly and have shown me around should I wish to book. Coupled with a great burger restaurant that's open lunchtime to dinner.nPopular with construction and coach drivers on stopovers, many of whom enjoy a chat in the early evening or early morning.nMobile phone reception can be a nightmare here depending on your carrier.
Double room with 2 bathrooms, his and hers! The staff were friendly and helpful. We visited at a quiet time. The hotel is located next to the E6, so great for a stopover -once you figure out that access is via the petrol station forecourt.nLovely cooked breakfast and an option of cold platters too.nShops just nearby in the shopping centre.
Made reservation for standard room with double bed, got the smallest room with bunk bad. Girl at the reception and boss did not want to recognise the mistake and give discount or pay back the money although it was much worse room that the one that we paid for. Do not recommend.
Not sure what else you could need on a Motorway Stopover.nStaff friendly, accepts dogs, small but easy to find. Restaurant onside for food and good beer. Will probably stay again!
Very decent roadside motel. Affordable. Little bit American style motel with hamburger restaurant downstairs. Good breakfast. Nice staff.
