I was on a business trip and stayed in Hotel Lundia for 6 nights. Very comfy hotel. Staff members are very nice! They have a self check in system as well. The buffet breakfast is good and my room was cleaned everyday. Perfect location, just a few minutes walk for the central train station!
The hotel is quite nice, and the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is pretty complete and now has scrambled eggs!. The location is basically unbeatable.
I booked a single room for three nights, and overall, I had a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, with a minimalist Swedish design that gave it a nice touch of style. The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Lund Central Station, which made getting there from Copenhagen Airport really straightforward.nnEverything was going smoothly until the second night when I was disturbed by construction noise coming through to my room pretty late. It was frustrating, and I ended up calling the reception to complain. The next morning, I followed up in person and also sent a message via Booking.com.nnTo their credit, the staff handled the situation incredibly well. They sincerely apologized and promptly offered to move me to another room. Later that afternoon, while I was away at a conference, they even called to follow up and ensure everything was taken care of. What truly impressed me was their generous response: they upgraded me to a suite, included a fancy breakfast at the Grand Hotel of Lund, and even gave me a thoughtful gift pack!nnThis is exactly how hospitality should be—responsive, caring, and genuinely focused on guest satisfaction. I left feeling truly valued and taken care of.nnHighly recommended! And as a bonus, Lund is a beautiful city that’s definitely worth exploring.
Located a block away from Lund C a very functional hotel without anything not necessary. The room is tiny with a great view and 4 Swedish speaking tv channels. The shower is divided with a symbolic but very picturesque wall which does not keep the water inside so if you are not moderate the bathroom is flooded. The breakfast is also puritan: one type of cheese, one type of meet and very cheep, not ripe pears and apples. Not much attention paid to allergies. No indulgence!
This hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk from Lund Central Station. The rooms are comfortable, but it's worth noting that they do not have a fridge or minibar.nnOne issue I encountered was the temperature inside the room, which seemed to be a common issue and possibly related to local customs. Be prepared to sleep with layers of clothing in the winter, as they tend to keep the temperature quite low. Breakfast options are basic but sufficient.nnComing from a place where self check-in isn't common, I found this to be a novel and interesting experience! Upon my arrival at night, the lady assisting me through the door call system was very polite and helpful.
