Rooms.ngood size. Comfortable bed. All needed things are there.nBut should be better taken care. Couple lamps were not working. Some parts are old and heavily used.nnPlacengood. A very nice hotel located near city center, will visit again if going back to this part of Sweden. Super clean, cozy rooms, gym, nice Lounge with option to purchase drinks well into the evening/night. Breakfast Buffet was TOP quality with great selection of foods and drinks. Excellent staff, especially want to praise the receptionist Laura, very friendly and nice lady
My stay at the Hotel President was better than I had expected and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.nnThe rooms and halls are fresh with nice carpeting.nThe breakfast which is often a weak point in Sweden was very good - there was tofu scramble and vegan sausages that are delicious and good quality breads not the horror sold in local supermarkets.nnThe cheeses were also excellent including high quality brie and hard cheeses.nnThe coffee is non-drinkable but that is always the case in Swedish hotels so it is not a reason to reduce a star by any means.nnThere is a slight buzz in the bath room probably from the ventilation but it really was not a major issue and this is coming from someone who is sensitive to noise.
Great hotel. Quiet room, very good breakfast, friendly staff and great location.
Excellent location, very close to the train station 4 mins walk and not too much snow to get through as pavements very clear. Friendly welcoming staff at the front desk and coffee/pastries freely available all day long. Room is a good size, Scandinavian in style with shower in bathroom. Not too noisy outside even though it's a low building set on a road. In the room are a set of small weights! Didn't use the gym. Complimentary water in the room. Breakfast is excellent. Lots of choice, and good coffee. I stayed here on business and would certainly stay again.
