The room could be cleaner and the mattress harder - a very subjective assessment. A lot of pillows for a single room, which is a plus. Positively surprised by the breakfast, a large selection and everything fresh. Coffee from a thermos unfortunately.
Very nice small hotel.
Do not get misled by photo of big Skovde hotel building.Hotel is actually only on 1 floor, the rest are offices. Some of the rooms are getting refurbished and look quite nice. I was unfortunate to stay in 1 bedroom ,right next to reception and got shocked by size and state of bathroom, its rusty shower head and toilet seat falling apart.Thanx God they had few double bedrooms available so I moved out of this nightmare straight away. Breakfast room is very small only 5 tables, food is ok for 3*.I appreciated tea & coffee ,microwave, kettle amenities available in the corridor. I would like to say Thank you to Alice ,blond receptionist at the hotel who was always nice, polite ,helpful and went beyond my expectations with her caring attitude.Thanks to you my hotel stay was more enjoyable.Well done Alice ;-nWhen showering water is running all over the floor , there is no barrier on the floor to stop that water running everywhere. So they left you window squeegee to clean the floor by yourself otherwise you can swim there or possibly slip..
The hotel is ok for a short stay of 2 days. I have a double room. It is small and no airconditioning for hot days. The bathroom is also ok .the floor is flat and no platform to differentiate the bathroom and the toilet. Breakfast is enough to get by. Remember parking is free from 6.00 pm to 10.00 am. The staff are extremely friendly.
Cozy rooms, wonderful breakfast buffet, 2 minutes away from the train station, beautiful view of the park.
