Visited for lunch. Calm atmosphere. Food served in buffet style. Only one dish per day to choose from. The food was generally well cooked. But as much of the food was pre-seasoned, and not much raw veggies available, the food felt generally somewhat salty.
Beautiful, simple rooms, and a wonderful restaurant made this a comfortable place to stay whilst we were visiting Uppsala. It felt like modern Sweden, and the appointments in the hotel were tasteful and minimalist. The facilities were clean, and the location was easy to get to and from, as we had a car. Breakfast was a treat.
Stayed here for 5 nights whilst visiting Uppsala and our grandsons christening at the cathedral. Being over Christmas the hotel was quite quiet but never the less we had a great time. The location was excellent for exploring the city.
Wonderful staff! Extremely helpful and kind.
Stayed here while accompanying my parents to the hospital across the road. The hotel is warm and simple, which was a perfect base for my parents who had to visit the hospital each day. The food in the restaurant is limited, but luckily there is a convenience store just 5 mins down the road.
