Unbelievable bad attitude not taking cash. Don't go there, boycot cashfree places - soo hostile and unfriendly and discriminating.
Ok hotel. During summer time the rooms may be little warm but now in the autumn room temperature was perfect. Shower and toilet are separate and at least in the room I had those were bit narrow. Especially in shower it was almost impossible not to hit the wall. But water temperature and pressure were good! Breakfast was OK not too crowded as the restaurant is very big. Dinner at restaurant was excellent! We were group of 5. Service was good and for surprise waitress spoke Finnish. Food was very well done and tasty. The restaurant's announced closing time was 10pm kitchen 9.30 But they served us almost till 11 pm and after that they guided us to the bar side was closed also where we could still sit together and have beers. I really can recommend this hotel and it's restaurant!
Right now I am staying here and I am loving it. My kids are happy too as I am writing this review, they are playing in a kids playing room at floor 1.nWhen we checked in my kids are offered to pick toys from the box, I mean where would you get such a welcome.nRoom is fine too. We have total 4 beds!nThere is a place for warming up your food and enjoy coffee/ tea.nReception is super friendly as well.nI have booked one more day on my return trip nTomorrow I will do breakfast too then I will upload some pics and review as well regarding that.nI have parked my car in a garage which is in the booking and there is an access from parking to reception and to all floors.
Nice hotel overlooking a square, conveniently close to the train station. Food was great with options for vegetarian, lactose free and gluten free. Very good service as well.nnConference facilities in good condition. Nässjö is almost midway between Stockholm and Malmö, preferred location for multi-party meetings from across Sweden.
I can only comment on the bad service of this so-called four star hotel as I ended up not staying there at all. I had booked a room based on the description on Booking which clearly states 'free private parking'. However, when I arrived they wanted to charge me 12 euro for a parking place for the night. When I pointed them to their own information on Booking, they refused to provide free parking. The receptionist also demanded to make a copy of my passport, which I refused because it's a breach of my privacy and against the European law. It's fine to ask a guest to identify himself, it's also fine to write down my name name, address and passport number for the night register, but it's NOT OK to make a copy of an ID. This hotel doesn't know the law. It's nonsense and customer unfriendly. The receptionist refused to check me in, so I left. Will never book here again.nnPS: I see the hotel responded to my review. As to the parking space: the receptionist could have offered this as a free service, certainly given the fact that it was already dark and rainy, but she rather chose to chase away a guest. As to the ID: they now formulate it differently, I think because they know very well that taking a copy is illegal. Showing an ID and registering name and address is not the issue, though this is the first hotel in Sweden where I was asked for this information. The receptionist demanded to make a copy of my ID as a condition to get a room, which is simply illegal as well as customer unfriendly, and she lied into my face that this is mandatory by law. Because of my work I know the European privacy laws very well. As the hotel apparently doesn't want to acknowledge their mistake, I will report them to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection IMY. European citizens have the same rights as Swedish citizens and should be treated accordingly. We are not 'foreigners', and even with 'foreigners' copying a passport is not allowed.
