This ICA had pretty good selection of different types of meat beef before, after changing store manager like 2 years ago, they replaced a lot of good stuffs with cheap and low quality products.nnEx: snake bags from Hungary/ Romania or Poland… tasted super salty, although these prices are cheap but pure waste of money.nnAnother example is ice cream and pizza. They once had pretty nice gelato called “Grom” and other things imported from Italy before, now I could only see some boring items like Järnaglass disgusting ice cream.nnI can accept expensive stuff with good quality, but this ICA made me so disappointed many times, because they removed T-bone, clubhouse steaks, Wagyu burger and “oxkind”… of their meat selections.nnLast but not least, I found that they sell expired products sometimes, there’s so many stuffs arrange products, but none of them notice, so I have to bring all the expired items to them.
Quite a big place right in the middle of Vaksala. In between of Downtown and Fålhagen area. Opened from early morning untill late night and 7 days a week. Prices are good as compared to ICA nära like grocery stores.
This is one of my favorite Icas in Uppsala, along with Luthagens livs the latter having better deals on expiring products, which avoids wasting. It has a nice selection of almost everything and a most wonderful counter for fresh fish and cheese. It is indeed pretty expensive, but I rather shop here than at my local Ica in Kvarngärdet, where the staff is rude and unhelpful.
Great variety and quality produce from all over the world. Well priced and neatly organized inside. Not very crowded and pretty spacious inside. Nice lighting and price tags properly posted. Pleasant to shop.
A larger Ica supermarket located in the city center..not a Maxi though. But a lot of variety in items.
