IKSU sport

I have tries all gyms in Umeå in past couple of years and this is my favourite so far. It can become quite full at times around 11:30 and 16:00. Otherwise, great activity centre with lots of possible activities to do such as mountain climbing, swimming, martial arts, gym and so on.

Good spaces for workout, the variety in machines so you don't have to wait if a machine is in use.There are always a variety of indoor sports like indoor soccer field, rock climbing, swimming, dancing, tennis and etc. There's separate shower for Ladies and Gents and each have their own Sauna.

Really one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I wanted to go bouldering there. I had done some research on their website which is only in swedish btw, really awful for international students - the google translate feature they have doesn’t really work and also told the person at the reception. When I walked in, I got an awful surprise - the bouldering space was closed because they were changing the routes. I wish someone somewhere had told me before or the times for that would be easily visible on the website or the entrance. I practically burned 140SEK which is alot of money for someone who is just a student. Luckily I had my swimming clothes with me, but the pool was another disappointment. The water was way to warm and the pool was really small. At least it wasn’t too crowded there, because I came in the morning. I will never come back.

Lots of activity choices, swimming, grouptraining, gym etc. and a really good climbing gym with autobelay, highwalls and a good variety of boulders.

The largest sports area inside university I've ever seentooo good and am speechless actually.
