This is one of the absolute best Indian restaurants northwest of Stockholm. I love Indian food and eat a lot of it, especially in Stockholm City. The food at Indian lounge is simply put top notch, which isn't surprising since restaurants like this one, often located in the city suburbs, compete with taste when they can't boast location. The food was expertly made and the chefs were professional and I, as well as my family, felt royally treated.nnWhile it is true that the restaurant placement might seem a bit od, laying between the subway tracks and a quite bizy road, it's compensated with closeness to easy commuting AND it's easy to park for free! on the street by the restaurant. And if you're in the mood for a walk, there's a huge beutiful forest park with a lake, right next to the restaurant. You can easily reach this place by bike and the bike parking is excellent.nnWe enjoyed our wonderful dinner under the canopy of a very large tree, which provided much needed shade from the early Swedish summer sun. Magic! The outside seating deck has a lot of afternoon sun. Our youngest son enjoyed looking at the passing cars, so Indian lounge has this too.nnThe prices are just right. Not too cheap and not too expensive. They serve alcohol beverages as well. If you're looking for a great Indian restaurant in the Stockholm region - this is the one.
Owners main focus is only on swedish people. Felt we were lost in the restaurant, no body cares to ask if we need anything or if food was ok, sounds like a racist to me because of his actions, Never going again.nRegarding the food, not typical indian but modified more to westernised style. We would prefer south indian restaurang in rådmansgatan or indian street food in hammarby sjöstad to taste real indian food and ambience n service.
Got there just as they were closing on a late saturday but they opened up the kitchen again just to serve us!nnProbably one of the most authentic indian culinary experiences you can have in Stockholm
Ordered home delivery from wolt. Food is bad. Everything is way too sweet. So sweet that you can just taste the sweetness, no spices and nothing.
The food was fantastic! We had 3 different dishes, and we all loved them! Definitely going back to try more
