Let's be honest these seats are so old and small it feels like they were made for smaller humans before modern nutrition enabled us to achieve 150cm+ statures. Every time someone walks by the whole row gotta stand up like they're doing the wave. This is economy class stadium seating at its worst. Otherwise nothing to write home about.
If you can afford it, pay the extra to get into the VIP section. It's definitely worth it.nWe caught a train that stops only a short walk from Avicii Arena, making it very convenient. There is parking at the adjoining shopping centre in Globen if you prefer to drive.nWe went to watch Djurgården v Almtuna. Whether you're into ice hockey we are or not, it's a fabulous experience.
Super cheap entertainment, taking in a junior U20 hockey game while on a trip to Stockholm!
Went to watch an Ice Hockey game here. Stadium is an older building but it had a great atmosphere and great views of the hockey. The entry and exit process was very quick and it has good transport links with the underground lines making getting there and back easy.
Hovet formerly known as Johanneshovs Isstadion or, in English: Johanneshov Stadium is an arena located in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm Stockholm Globe City which is mainly used for ice hockey, concerts and corporate events. It was opened in 1955 as an outdoor arena, however a roof was added in 1962, and the arena interior has also been a subject to major renovation in 2002. The arena's main tenants are ice hockey clubs AIK and Djurgårdens IF. The official capacity is 8,094 spectators for ice hockey events and 8,300 during concerts.
