Best Saffron bun i've ever had!!!! My only complaint was that it's a little small :P
I just loved the vibe of this bakery. Very crowded but relaxed, quiet and peaceful. Mostly people do takeaway. But you can also eat in. They have open kitchen, they processed and baked the food in front of customers.
This place. I’m from the U.S. and am an avid baker and lover of baked goods. This place may be one of the best bakeries I’ve ever been to. If you don’t have the best experience, try again. I truly cannot say enough good things about it! All 7 pastries we bought here were phenomenal and perfectly baked/flavored. The dough was light and buttery while still being substantial. This bakery is worth so many visits! When I first visited I left, ate a cardamom bun in the car and went right back in to buy more pastries.
Waited at the queue about half an hour to get kanelbulle on kanellbullens dag. After all the hype was expecting something extremely good but it did not meet the expectations. The shape looks appetising but texture was so doughy and taste was sugary. Besides, size is quite small. I have eaten better cinnamon buns at other bakeries for sure but would like to give another chance to this place for other pastries.nUpdate: sourdough bread is beyond expectations, change of my 3 to 4 starts. Will continue trying more.nUpdate 2: semla is the top one in Stockholm and after trying 10 more times here, cinnamon buns are little bigger in size and not as much sugary. Change my 4 starts to 5, they deserve it!
