Kafé Rosteriet

Café Rosteriet is a cozy coffee shop, often known for its quality coffee, fresh pastries, and relaxed atmosphere. Both the drinks and the cinnamon rolls taste really delicious. We always like coming here because the cafe is small, but very cozy and you get very good coffee here!

Very nice café, where you can drink coffee from the classic roastery next door. The typical Swedish brewed coffee is available in two flavours, and you are encouraged by the friendly staff to take refills so you can try both. A random surprise that I highly recommend. Also try their carrot cake.

It's hard to miss the aroma of Löfbergs' freshly roasted beans when passing through central Karlstad. The office/cafe is located just minutes from the central railway station.nnThe guided tour is not to be missed. The tour is usually conducted in Swedish but the staff switched to English for us. Our guide Adia Niy was brilliant. Her tour was highly professional. She was detailed enthusiastic and took good care of the group. We toured the factory and saw how a batch of beans would go through the process for careful sampling, taste testing, roasting, packaging and transportation.nnThe tour also includes a visit to the penthouse where we heard about how the Löfbergs family started the business. Apart from the tour, the views of the bew waterfront and Karlstad from the top floor were marvelous.nnAt the end of the tour guests can stay and sample the coffee and treats at the café. We enjoyed a coffee sampling and learnt many interesting and useful tips about the different roasts and coffee preparation.nnEnjoyed our excellent time here. Thanks Löfbergs
