My girlfriend and I recently visited Kajgatan 1, a charming restaurant located in a small fishing lodge south of Helsingborg, Sweden. The ambiance, with its quaint seaside charm, was a highlight of our evening.nnThe service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. It was clear that they took pride in their work, and this greatly enhanced our overall experience.nnAs for the food, it was certainly enjoyable, but it fell just short of being extraordinary. While the dishes were well-prepared and presented, they lacked the memorable flavors or creativity that would make them stand out. The menu offered a decent selection, and everything we tried was good, but not remarkable.nnIn summary, Kajgatan 1 is a lovely spot with excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. It’s a great place to visit for the ambiance and the attentive staff, though the food, while acceptable, might not leave a lasting impression.
What a joke. Bought fish and chips as take away for SEK 195 and it contained a ridiculously small fish. Look at the picture...The restaurant should be ashamed. Absolutely not recommended.
Just magnificent. Best restaurant in town. Beautiful surroundings and excellent service. And the food was great too.
Orderd lasagna but it didn't contain any meat just layers and layers of dry, tasteless and cold pasta. AND it was a really small portion. Honestly, ut was maybe a spoonfull of meat per dish. It was absolutely unbelievably bad. What a joke.
Fairly standard Swedish menu with both vegetarian and meat options. The portions are big and tastes ok, but didn’t offer anything unique. Good selection of wines and beers, including some not-so-common non-alcoholic options.nnService on the day we visited felt a bit stressed and disorganized.
