Kalmar County Museum

If you like ships and history I would say this one is a must.nIt is a bit unique but it holds so much information.nBonus points for the toilets

It's a wonderful hands-on museum to understand the story and the life on board of the Kronan, the Swedish supership from the 1600s. Definitely made for kids but any adult who isn't an expert on sea-faring life will learn a lot and find in interesting.

Very kid friendly museum, the exhibition about Kronan shipwreck was fascinating for both kids and adults. Super cool kronan-themed playfround on the first floor. Very good restaurant for lunch. Higly recommended!

It’s a kids museum. Don’t come here excepting adult stuff. And it’s based on the “Krönan” ship reck.nnMy daughter really enjoyed the children’s play room. A very hands on playroom, where you could touch everything. The playroom was fairly big and it occupied an entire floor. And everything was in operating order.nnIn terms of the rest of the museum. One floor is devoted to the recovery of the ship, the Kronan, and included a nice guided tour.nnThe museum cafe was decent and it meet our needs. Fairly quick. Staff was nice. Food was good.nnThis is a kid oriented museum and would recommend going there.
