KB Art - an international platform for Contemporary Art in Sweden and China.

KB Arts main tasks is exhibitions, art projects, workshops/education and conferences. In collaboration with Chinese art organizations we are running an Artist-In-Residence program in Sweden as well as in China.

We believe that Art is a place where we can push the boundaries of what we know, what we do and what we can say.

From year 2017 we are organizing art projects involving society issues and social responsibility with children and youth as targetgroup. We maintain this kind of projects in cooperation with artists, art teachers and social workers from The Nordic countries as well as from China.

KB ArtStudio in Beijing, China
In a new area, located in Beijing road ring six, KB Art offer a bedroom, small kitchen and bathroom and an ArtStudio (200 m2, 6 m high). Artist from Sweden, Norway, Denmark with Farao Islands , Finland and Iceland can apply to be our Nordic Artist-In-Residence during March, April and May. You can stay from 4 weeks up to 12 weeks.

International Studio in Jindezhen, China
In Jingdezhen, the world capital city of Porcelain, we collaborate with The International Studio in Tao Xi Chuan. The international studio is situated a few minutes by walk from a newly opened Scandinavian Art & Design Center.

KB Art Skåne
In a house built 1849 with a beautiful view to the medieval stonechurch from 1000 centery we are running an ArtGallery, an Artist In Residence-program and also B&B with guest from all over the world.

KB Art in Småland
The name KB is a shortening with he initials from our Art Gallery in Mariannelund, Konsthall Betel. Mariannelund is a small village located very central in the south of Sweden with in a triangel less than 300 km to Stockholm, Gothenburg and to Malmö, the three biggest citys in Sweden.
We who are running KB Art co-founded The Cultural Academy , Kulturakademein i Mariannelund, in Småland in dec 2006. We still work in very tight collaboration with The Cultural Academy.
