We rented a canoe at Åkersbro, which was extremely easy and the equipment was in great condition. After the canoe trip we had the chance to stop by their Café and it was the best decision we made!nThe location has very lovely interior and the staff is extremely kind. We never had such stunningly good Kanelbullar! They absolutely know what they do.nThe loppis on the other side of the street was nice to stroll in.nIf we ever come back to this town we will definitely visit again!

Excellent place to go for a short or long canoe or kayak trip. Parking can be a challenge when it is busy 2 handicapped spaces available behind the main house. Very friendly and helpful staff. Relax with some coffee and cake or a meal at the restaurant.
I can't recommend this kayaking place enough. Cecilia was so kind and helpful - even before we arrived. She organised a packed lunch and flask of coffee to take on our two hour trip. I rented a double for my 9 year old and myself and Cecilia advised us on the best route, where to see the beaver lodge and the beach where we could stop to enjoy our delicious sandwiches and muffins. We were the only people on the water that day. It was incredibly peaceful and the scenery is beautiful. Will definitely go back if we stay near Åkersbro again.
We booked the first time slot, 9-11am. The staff forgot to prepare the equipment for us the day before, so it took a little longer to get ready, but they were very helpful. We had a great time and will definitely go back. Beautiful scenery and variety of birds.
