The pool facilities are lovely. We’ve been using the pool several times a week for over a month, and it’s always very clean. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The layout is great, with plenty of kid-friendly areas, including two children’s pools and a water play area. I haven’t tried the gym or other amenities yet.
The gym is of average size but has pretty good equipment.nA lot of sport classes are offered so usually there are a lot of children and teenagers there.nThey have different pools, some are for everyone and some are for children or swimming classes. The bastu is really nice!nThe place could be cleaner tho!
Love it! Relatively new compared to other swimming pools in Stockholm. Easy access, 5 minutes walks from Åkeshov Station. 2 big pools, 1 kids pool, 2 pools for people with disabilities. There's also a decent gym, and bowling hall. The changing room is light, clean and huge. The bastu is nice. The Café is not really special but it's light, roomy. There's also a microwave.
Akeshov might be one of the best managed pools near the city. Two large pools, 2 small and one for kids . Amazing time for kids. The pool also have a gym which quite good and very cost effective, good for parents while their children are in training. Akeshov also have many swimming clubs , Bromma Simsällskap may be the best one for children looking to start their professional swimming training
I thought it would be cold to swim in winter. But turns out the water in the pool is just like normal temperature. It was crowded and you need to swim in line so you will not hit other swimmers. One input from me is the shoe rack. I think they need to manage customer’s shoes with better rack. Because I put outside the box and when I’m out, all customer’s shoes were inside the box and I need to dig and touch each of other people shoes to find mine. Not so fun if you had your clean shoes and then become dirty because they mixed your shoes. Next time maybe I need to bring my shoes to my locker.
