Konstverket "8 11"

Cool place. Already the drive to this abandoned power station was nice. I loved the colors of the leaves and enjoyed the smell of wood. Then, in the middle of nature this memorial of a big structure appears. The art inside of the old damn was nice and I loved the echoe. Unfortunately all the plates were in Swedish so I only understood about 40%. There even is a place to park your bycicle and I totally recommend using your bike to get here.

I had the opportunity to spend some time in Umeå, and the only interesting attraction is this ruined power plant dam. The place itself is perfect for a walk with family or friends.

Beautiful hiking trail right by the water. Small Japanese garden with a view of the river.
