My friend called up to check if they were open during the winter season November, they were, so I drove there and popped into the reception. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I was offered the choice of where I wanted to park up. Electric was charged if you used it, I didn't need to. The campsite was fantastic, I only stayed for 2 nights, but wish I had stayed longer. The place is on the edge of a lake, and a short walk from town. Facilities were faultess and I will save the place for future travels across Sweden The price too for an overnight stay was excellent value too. Thanks to the staff, see you again.
Amazing campsite with nice playgrounds, restaurant and ice kiosk however not the safest?nnThe toilet facilities could be more plenty full but mostly die to walking distance not due to queueing.nnOnly real downside is the price especially seeing that the campsite is open to the surroundings meaning people from outside use the facilities watertaps on the camp spots, playgrounds etc..nnThis gives a strange feeling especially if the site is not full. A bit similar to being parked in public park. People simply come and go as they please and use the campsite as a walkway. The feeling is both helped and not helped by the fact that the police also passthrough and during the weekend there was a security service patrolling. This is needed?
Fantastic location for everyone. A big very classy campground with very good facilities. Very friendly and positive staff. They helped us do the booking over the phone when our internet did not work. A very nice location by lake Vänern with a wonderful walking route into the city. Walking distance to the grocery store and a very clean place. Camping as it is when it is best!
Too big for my taste. And the surroundings of the camp site are quite ugly.nnBesides that, staff is super friendly and toilets and showers are fine. Also the restaurant is just fine, with good staff and foodnnThe swimming pool nearby is simple but provides good entertainment for half a day of fun in the water.nnThe city centre is nice and has some excellent restaurants
Peaceful camping close to the Vanern lake. Stayed at one of the cabins and had some nice days here. It is very clean, staff is friendly and willing to help.
