We had a wonderful hike from Ängelholm train station, we crossed the city and walked around the sea side. Then we stopped for a Fika at the UFO matching the landscape with an alike cookie.
Summary: a short, easy walk through woodland to a clearing with a small UFO monument. A quick stop off, not a big destination.nnDetails: the car park was free with lots of spaces, and there were public toilets available though they were *very* small so not very practical for larger people. The wall was over dirt paths through lush, beautiful woodland with lots of roots sticking up, so take care with wheelchairs or push chairs- it would still be possible, just requires more care. There’s a little bridge, and then more pathways to the clearing- it was around fifteen minutes each way.nThere is a small area with the site of temporary burial for apparent aliens , and then a wider clearing with a UFO replica in the centre. The ‘crop circles’ are cast in concrete for preservation.nnIt was an okay experience, somewhat interesting and a fun stop to stretch the legs on a long drive. I recommend reading Wikipedia about this place as the signs aren’t all in English and story is much bigger than what is told on site.
