Elementary school is a joke. Substandard teachers who write differently, dirty premises, inedible food and zero support and interest from mentors who don't bother to answer emails. Kulturama is owned by Medborgarskolan, which is owned by rich royalist moderates.nnDeeply regret that I let my child go here, he had to change to a municipal school instead.nnThink before you place your child here!
I went to vocational training for acting for 1 year here. Cost SEK 100,000.nnUnbelievably low level unfortunately. No props. Hardly any premises. A lot of bullying both from students and oddly enough from teachers.nnEven the school management chose to ignore the bullying. They talk a lot about the efforts they have against bullying, but the reality is really different.nnI had with the knowledge I have now really avoided Kulturama as much as possible.nnThere are significantly better cultural educations around Stockholm, which I experienced when I studied at these in retrospect. So search for these instead! This one is a waste of time, money and effort.nnWould have liked to give half a star or none at all if possible!
The school is really good, but the premises are quite cramped and you have to climb 7 flights of stairs for many classes. The teachers are usually good but there are the few who are not.nnOne of Kulturama's best qualities is the atmosphere among the students and that you get to see what other lines are doing, e.g. dance shows, concerts and openings.
Read this before you decide to spend so much money on an education!nnThere are nice teachers at the school and the students are usually enthusiastic and receptive to all kinds of music. Having said that....nnIt is incredibly expensive, there is only one good studio to record tapes in, all studios are equipped with the absolute cheapest scarlett 2i, mini mac. You have to share studio time and instruments with high school students who don't immediately care about taking care of things or surroundings. Incredibly high absenteeism among some teachers, large gaps in the schedule on certain days and broken equipment in all studio premises. Despite error reports, nothing is fixed.nnThere is a reason why many choose to quit after the first year, it's not worth it. Had it been cheaper and better equipped, I would have considered staying.
I walk past this school almost every day, and there are always a lot of strange young people between the ages of 13-19 who just stand and hang out outside. There are also only a lot of emos and leftists who go to this school. What kind of school is this anyway? What do they learn? I have no idea.
