Visited Kungsträdgården in late November a few years ago and was completely enchanted by the festive atmosphere. The illuminated reindeer sculptures, canopy of string lights and glowing Christmas trees transformed the park into a true winter wonderland. The reflections on the wet pavement added a magical touch to the whole scene, and it was wonderful watching so many people enjoying the ice‑skating rink. A beautiful public space that blends seasonal charm with urban energy.
There’s always some kind of event happening here in every season. In spring, you can see the most beautiful cherry blossoms in the city. In summer, you can sit back and relax by the fountain in the warm weather, and enjoy all the lively summer concerts hosted here. During winter, there’s a short but charming Christmas market and a large ice skating rink where you can skate to your heart’s content.
Nice city centre space. Lots going on from live events and seasonal use of the space to monuments and fountains.nnEnjoyed a walk though, place was clean and relaxed with people just chilling or touristinf about.
Kunstradgarden, meaning Royal Gardens, is a big park in the very center. Once, there was also a Royal Palace here, which burned down in fire in 17 c, but the gardens remained.nIn the center is a big fountain and in the northern part nice pond, serving as a skating rink in winter. Several food/drinks kiosks around to cool down on one of many benches around
Fantastic park with a pleasant view , green all around and covered with beautiful flowers. When I visited the atmosphere was awesome and pleasant.nMust visit the park in Stockholm and sit and enjoy the beautiful place. Usually not so crowded and peaceful place.
