I couldn’t find a laundromat in Stockholm, and this place was the only one that accepted my request. Their communication is excellent, and they are always extremely kind, whether at the reception desk or via email. The cost is very affordable because the pricing is based on 3-hour slots rather than per machine. However, there is only one washing machine and one dryer, and the space is so cramped that it’s impossible to stay inside while the machines are running, as there’s no place to sit. The staff are very helpful, and there’s a small shop as well as outdoor sofas. The toilets are paid.
We stayed for two nights at Långholmen Husbilscamping with our pkw. The first night we had a spot at the official camping area, which was totally fine, but for the second night that spot was already booked so we had to move to the spot „77“, which is next to the toilets and showers. The spot is not even, it has a light declension, which is not the best when you sleep in a cat. But the worst part was, during the night around 1.30am there were random people in cars driving onto the camping to park on the spots next to us, they were very loud and insensitive and we felt very unsafe. Also we couldn’t sleep at all as there were strangers in cars coming or leaving every hour until 6 in the morning. In the morning I wanted to take a shower and three didn’t work at all, the one that worked was ice cold. I went to the reception and told them everything and asked for money back. They said it is a public area so they cannot give me any money back. I can not recommend the area next to the toilets, the official area is okay for one or two nights…
Most of the sites are in a large parking lot under a bridge, so not very attractive. However, it is very easy to get around Stockholm from this campground. It's a short walk to the metro and just a few stops to the center of the city. Also, there are many good restaurants within easy walking distance and a park right beside the campground. We would return.
420sek per night for a parking space under a quiet bridge. Quite a walk to the service block, but lots of showers and toilets available. Recommend using the showers around the back of the left block as these are more private and offer more space. Only one drinking water tap. You can hire the washing machine and tumble dryer for three hours for 70SEK. 30 minute walk to centre of Stockholm.
Very good place to visit Stockholm !!!nPeople are very kind and all is very clean.nThank you very much for this beautiful week.
