I recommend this place for breakfast and coffee! Delicious heated sandwiches :
We had a takeaway of pastries and a loaf of levian sourdough.nnThe pastries - tosca, blåbär blueberry tosca and apple tart were YUMMY!nnThe levain was flavourful with a spongy consistency. We grilled some slices the next day and had it with butter.
Hard to ask for more from our local bakery, it executes on most pastries and breads at a truly awesome, and precise level. The croissants are at least as good as Fosch’s who have SM Guld being both buttery, flaky and so flavourful. The levain has only improved over the years with a great crumb, a well balanced sourness and they’re nowadays baked so the colour is that lovely, near char character. The frallor, or small breads, I would say are better than Park’s in Äppelviken, specially the pumpa levain fralla. Wowzers. If there was one improvement area it would be the coffees. Lidingöroasteri is admirable to use, but other bakeries using Gringo Coffee, Lykke etc give a better filter coffee experience. The ambience is terrific and do I wish a few more smiles? Sure. But we’re in Sweden so let’s not expect miracles. All in all, what a truly great local we have on Lidingö.
Lovely bakery! Friendly staff, good cakes and surprisingly good coffee. First I was hesitating to sit outside due to the rain. But we sat dry and it was good with the heaters.
A cute little bakery with delicious food and coffee. The pastries were perfect and the coffee tasted amazing. Some apace to sit outside, nothing really inside. Unfortunately no bathroom.
