A spacious, open interior and bright Lidl store in the center of Hallonberg, which makes the store accessible via public transportation such as bus and subway. All products and prices are the same as other Lidl stores. In front of the store, there is a fairly large car park with many paid parking spaces.
Cashier usually makes mistakes in offers and once caught forces to stand in long queues to rectify mistakes.nMost offers are finished before the week ends and usually only one counter is open to help.nSadly the discounts are not enough to make for lost time standing in queues for mistakes made by their employees. Do not recommend!
Lots of products, usually good prices, and the fruits and vegetables are usually good!
Been multiple time in the situation to have to sit and wait in a very long queue8-10 people and had to wait a lot for buying 2-3 products. What's the point of having self checkout if it's never open?nAlso cashiers don't notice the reduced price label, even if it's bright orange so they'll charge you the original price. Perhaps you could learn from the other supermarkets that place it above the original bar code.
I'm not very familiar with Lidl so I can't say how it compares to other stores in Sweden, but I'm disappointed by the prices and the choice, especially for everyday products. Nice to have some seasonal foodstuffs from all over Europe though.
