Convenient place with Galleria/Mall, Restaurants, McDonald's, Coop, Lidl, Willy's, ICA Kvantum all at one place.. And most of the Electronics, Apparel Shopping as well. Quick 15 minutes to T Central from here is a breeze..
Main station on red line to change to bus, train and tram. With all basic facilities and multiple entrance and exits. Only drawback is bus stop is inside train station.
Available Busses and Trains. Transits in pick ours. Nice place indeed.
The station is the seventh largest in the metro network and serves about 29,600 passengers per day. It is located 3.4 km from Slussen and was opened on April 5, 1964 in connection with the opening of the first line of Metro 2 which later became the red line. At the time, the station was an open station with two platforms and only a ticket office at the southern end, where the smaller bus station was located. In the early 2000s, the station was completely rebuilt: it was closed off and became an internal station, and a new square and new houses with houses and shops were built upstairs. SL - the first underground so-called bus docking terminal was built in connection with the new platform at the reconstructed station. Tvarbanan has been staying at the new North Checkout Hall since 2000. A glazed passage leads from the station to the ski lift to Nibokhovsberget. If you are arriving from Stockholm city center, there is an exit to the Liljeholmen shopping center in front in the direction of the train, exit to Tvärbanan in the back.nnLiljeholmen also has red line traffic control.nnThe decoration consists of Karl-Axel Lunding's concrete reliefs and candlelight games with both natural and artificial lighting using prisms, glass mosaics, LEDs and illuminated pillars.
Why does the Train statiom smells like Raw Sewage? I pass by there multiple times a day and most often you smell the distinct smell of methane or other rotting smelling gas...its really not ideal...and safe...
