My brother and I wanted to rent motorcycles to tour Sweden and Denmark this past July. Lundgrens BMW in Avesta gave us a wonderful rental experience. They picked us up at the train station and drove us to the bike shop. They made sure we had all that we needed, including free beverages and even a couple of new neck buffs for the trip.nnMy brother rented the 2024 R1250 and I rented the 2024 F 800 GS. Both bikes were amazing. His had a seat warmer to complement the handlebar warmers, and mine had just the handlebar warmers. These were wonderful since it rained a lot of the time and the warmth helped keep us from getting tired too quickly. We also rented panniers from the shop.nnMalin was our initial point of contact with questions about the rentals. She ended up being the one that helped us get checked out and out the door for our trip. She was so kind, helpful and patient with us, especially when my bank kept refusing the charge for the rental because of suspected fraud. She even emailed me prior to our arrival to ask if I'd prefer a lowered seat and suspension on the bike I'd be renting. I'd mentioned that I had problems with dropping a BMW adventure bike before because I could barely touch my toes to the ground when seated and so I was a bit nervous about renting this bike. The lowered seating and suspension on this new rental made all the difference!nnWhen we handed the bikes back over, it was pouring down rain and my brother and I were freezing. The attendants at BMW were so kind and attentive. They made sure we knew about the free hot drinks available and even gave us a couple of pairs of dry socks to change into before they drove us back to the train station. I've remained in contact with Lundgrens due to a parking ticket we picked up while in Copenhagen and they remain patient, polite and professional in all their communications with me.nnWonderful service, excellent communication and attention to detail, and pleasant staff that go above and beyond. Highly recommended for motorcycle rental in Sweden.
Nice people and excellent service. I had an issue with my bike whilst travelling through Sweden. BMW assist dropped my bike with Lundgrens early in the morning and by 3:00pm that day it was all sorted and ready to go.
Would have to be the best and friendliest BMW moto business I have had the pleasure of visiting. I needed help to sort out an electrical issue with my bike, Fredrik and staff gave me all the help and more that I required.nTruly a shop/service centre, that is in tune with motorcyclists needs.nThanks guys for all your help!!!
