I spent a wonderful week at Lyrsta B&B. My room was super cozy and it's the perfect place to just relax. A delicious breakfast is served each morning. It's in a great location for bike tours along the Göta canal and you can even borrow bikes from the B&B.

Superb value. Everything was really tidy, the kid loved the pool, really nice breakfast, very friendly service.nOnly thing to notice: rooms don't have own bathrooms, but the ones at the hallway were really nice and big.n5/5

This visit was pleasant the host was very eager to please and the rooms were very nice.nI had a little single room and as I came very late, the room was very cold and I had to sleep wearing my clothes.nThe breakfast was nice..

We had the pleasure of spending a week as a family in the charming, former schoolhouse, which authentically creates a very special atmosphere with creaking wooden floors and squeaking doors. It is located on a beautiful property, surrounded by idyllic fruit trees and lush greenery. Not to forget the heated pool, which gives you the feeling of luxury.nnEgg lovers will definitely get their money's worth at the guesthouse, as you can choose between scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, omelettes and even bacon. Furthermore, the drinks are ice-cold in the morning, which I personally prefer, and the smoked ham and salted butter are also absolutely delicious. But since I'm a bit spoiled, I would have liked waffles or rolls on Sunday. However, I am 100 percent sure that if I had addressed this wish to Katarina the guesthouse landlady, she would definitely have made it possible. :-nnA shop, a cute café Daisys, a fast food restaurant and the legendary Göta Canal are just around the corner.nnThe owners of the guesthouse are super warm, always ready for a chat and always try to ensure the well-being of their guests. They were always available and we never felt left alone.nnThe additional refrigerator, freezer, grill facilities and microwave available to guests made our stay a lot easier.nWe also loved the communal living room, where we could lounge on the sofa and even watch German television on our cell phone. Brilliant!nnBecause the accommodation is a guesthouse and parking spaces are also rented out there, you meet a lot of new people with whom you live together almost like in a shared apartment. I LOVE stuff like that. But less open-minded people might find this annoying, which is why I don't understand the negative reviews about it. Guys, this is a B&B! If you want your own toilet, book a hotel room. :-DnnThe only drawback for me was: I simply hated the steep stairs that lead to the upper floor. Hahahah, but I also have a hip problem. However, the cute schoolhouse can't do anything about it.nTherefore: If you are not in good shape, it is better to book the room on the ground floor.nnAll in all, we would love to come back!nNext time, however, to experience a real Swedish winter!
