Åmål station is a nice old railway station that is centrally located. Good connections to Gothenburg, Säffle, Karlstad. Traveling is convenient and fast, cheap
A disaster for tourists. The waiting hall was recently renovated years ago, but the cable was torn out. The toilet wasn't labeled or lit! The waiting room was closed after a certain time! No written information about when the train leaves. The station isn't inviting; it's not Swedish! The ticket machine is outside instead of inside, especially in winter! Get information beforehand and use lots of internet and apps! No cash payments! A driving school in the building, which is a shame.
