This is the first year Majkens has been open and Björn and his staff have done an amazing job in renovating this space as well as adding a new deck out front so now there i plenty of outdoor seating in a relaxed and chill vibe that fits perfectly with what you come to Fåro for. The eclectic design is relaxing and a perfect spot to enjoy a Aperol Spritz, glass of wine or just a ice cold glass of Ramlösa. You can never go wrong with their amazing thin and crispy freshly baked Pizza's.nnWe started planning our wedding dinner reception with Björn in November of 2023 while they were still finalizing their new design and had not yet started construction but we were wow'ed with the final result on the day of our wedding June 15, 2024. As they had only opened on June 1st we were a bit nervous if all the details would come together but as you can see from the pictures we were able to have 78 guests enjoy a special and unique 5 course dinner designed with their Owner and executed by friendly and attentive staff. The cocktails were served outside on the back deck and even a bar was built for our event by them so that no one had to go inside to the restaurant bar. A kind and thoughtful Owner for sure!!!! Dinner was served inside where we were able to create a specific footprint so that all 78 guests felt like they were close to and a part of the Bridal Couples main table. There was room for speeches, skits and even a Hawaiian Hula performed by the Bride. After the dinner the staff had set up the Wedding Dessert Buffet provided by local Baker so that all the guests could enjoy the DJ and dancing along with the Whiskey and Cigar Corner.nnThe freshly baked Pizza served for Vickning at 1230am was a perfect way to keep the party and energy going until 2am when the guests went back to their rooms happy, tired and having enjoyed a most memorable day in Sudersand and on Fåro.

For a breakfast “buffet” with no option more than ham and cheese, fruits that looked like they had been there for at least a week,nThe eggs basket was empty the whole time we were there even when we asked the staff for some eggs…. I would’ve just gone to ICA and buy me a good breakfast and spend less than what they charge here.

One star for so loud music from the restaurant even after 23:00 in the night. It was impossible to sleep in the resort even with ear buds.

The tapas are insanely good!!!!

Cozy place, we ate good pizzas and also tasted the good garlic prawns. and went further into the courtyard for a drink afterwards. Really good troubadour, a bit of a tough crowd though.
