Fantastic brews, and easy going staff. The barley wine and black currant mead were so good. Visiting Sweden from the US and finding this place was such a cool surprise.
Great beer selection, especially if you like IPAs.nI tried Hazy IPA #5 and Wheat #19. #5 was the standout for me, and definitely recommend that one specifically if you like Hazy IPAs.nnFood was fine - not terrible, just not on the same level as the beer. Would 100% come back for the beer alone.nnOverall: go for the hazy IPAs. The brewers clearly know what they’re doing.
A bit of a mixed experience. We went on a weekday and it was a bit quiet and soulless. The meads we tried were very good and there was a good range of beers at fair prices. The food was very good value, and large portions. Not perhaps top quality, but if you are hungry, the pulled pork certainly does a job. The one thing that let it down was the staff. We visited on a Monday, and the staff member on sounded like he was native English. But he was very indifferent and unhelpful. They have a large range of beers, we would have hoped he would have recommended and promoted based on what we asked, but he just didn't seem interested. This resulted in us leaving a but faster than intended. We would go back and try again, but its a shame in a brewery tap that the staff didn't care more about the brewery he was representing. This did have an impact on our experience.
This is a great little place a little off the beaten path. It has an American bar vibe and offers great brew brewed on site and pulled pork sandwiches. Local and a nice change from downtown tourist places.
Great place and most importantly, great selection of craft beers. The staff had knowledge of beers for recommending based on your taste.
